though, it holds an added fascination. One moreover that grows as individual 
pictures accumulate. “I have a ritual,” she explains, “I have a large wall in the 
workshop. And in the course of constructing a set of drawings I hang them on 
it. In this way I have an overall view. I like to think that each drawing is a piece 
that forms a greater whole. Each drawing is independent but linked by an invis­
ible thread to make a much larger entity. This comes together with my belief 
that every human being is linked and is part of one universal consciousness, like 
all beings on Earth.”
